Company Story

Family-owned since 1998, Heartland Building Supply has grown from a single pickup truck and a small Cedar Hill lot into one of the largest independent building materials suppliers serving the South Central US. Today we operate 7 tandem delivery trucks and a fleet of flatbed boom trucks out of our 14-acre Dallas distribution yard, with a combined inventory of more than $3.2M in lumber, engineered wood, rebar, fasteners, drywall, and bagged concrete mixes.

Standard delivery hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. After-hours and Sunday deliveries can be coordinated for active job sites with 24-hour notice. We accept cash, all major credit cards, ACH transfer, and net-30 terms on approved credit accounts (typically approved within 2 business days for licensed contractors with verifiable EIN).

Estimating teams: send us your takeoff and we will quote materials at the same price every week for the duration of the project. We do not bait-and-switch on quoted prices, and we do not surprise you with fuel surcharges or restocking fees on returned overstock. If a price goes up in the market between your quote and delivery, we still honor the original number — that is how we keep GCs coming back.
